May 12 2008 Meeting

Dennis called the meeting to order at 7:00PM.
Mary-Jo read the minutes from the April 14th Meeting. The correction of the name Bob Johnson to his actual name of David was addressed. Tim K moved to accept the minutes as read with the correction of David's name. Randy seconded the motion, motion passed.

Jerry Harmon was introduced as a new member. Jerry has in fact been a member since 2006 however he has been very ill. WELCOME BACK JERRY!!!!!

VP Report - None for the May meeting.

John K read the treasurers report. Tim K moved to accept the report. Wil P seconded the motion. Motion passed.

Wil stated that if you can not fill your slot that you need to contact him ASAP so that you can be replaced.

Dennis reminded everyone of the MADWACO car show and race and took a rough head count. Wil stated that he will be leaving on Friday afternoon from the service station parking lot in West Tulsa on 177th Ave at 1:00PM. Tim K stated that he is leaving on Saturday morning at 9:00AM as a spectator.

John K stated that he has the signatures for the club insurance policy and that the paperwork is being submitted.

Dennis reminded everyone that the regionals is on June 27-28.

Dennis reported that the Rooster Days Parade had a showing of 10 cars and that it started out nice but rained a little towards the end.

John K reported on the poker run stating that everyone had a great time.

Wil reported on the Vault Car Show. He stated that it was a good show but that there were not enough classes.

Wil reminded everyone that the dinner cruise was to Uncle Vinny's NY Pizzeria on Saturday and that those from the club that are going will meet at the Social Security Building at 4:30PM and leave at 4:45PM. J T and family will be leading the way.

New member John Paul Melone (relation of none other than Dan Gillian) has joined with his 73 Chevelle SS and Malibu

50/50 pot winner is Guest Maureen Kerish (coloring buddy and grandma of Maesen Turner)

Wil reported of a cruise in Saturday nights at 48th and Memorial with the Tulsa Street Scene and that it is worth checking out.

David Sandridge reported that he has several "work project" cars. Wil suggested that he send the information to Greg to put in the news letter.

Jerry Harmon made motion to adjourn the meeting. MJ seconded the motion. Motion passed, meeting was adjourned at 7:30PM.
