Mary-Jo read the minutes from the July 14th Meeting.

Dennis G. introduced guest Homer Barnes and his 66 Chevelle. Jeff Lewis was also introduced, he is not a new member just a new face.
Tim K. gave the VP report as a product placement add stating that he has information on B+T Power Coating located at 162 East Marshall. See Tim K. for all of the details.
John K. read the Treasurers report,

New Business
Dennis G. announced that there will be a regional's meeting directly following the regular meeting. Dennis also reminded everyone that the dinner cruise will be to Uncle Vinnie's at 5:30 PM on Saturday September 13. Dennis also announced that in ArkCity Kansas there will be a Nostalgia race on September 26-28.

Dennis G. reminded everyone that September 28th is the Annual Car Club Picnic.
Haikey Creek Park, Shelter #4, from 1PM to 4PM. Tim K. suggested a smoked brisket
as a change. Odis M. made a motion to have smoked brisket as the main course.

Tim K. requested callers try and get a rough count of how many people will be attending the picnic. Wil P. reminded everyone that this is also an opportunity for a photo shoot, the Club photographer will be there to take pictures of cars which will be used to update Member Car Pictures on the Club Website.
Dennis G urged everyone who has not done so to get their profile into Greg B. for the newsletter. Greg B stated that the form Is online. John T. volunteered to Do this months Profile.
Wil P. announced that Brian Wilken's and his car were in a Head-On collision. They were hit by a Drunk Driver. Brian is in pretty good condition considering, the car is in pretty rough condition. We all hope him (and his car) a speedy recovery. Odis M. reminded everyone that your car needs to be appraised whether it be by him or another licensed individual. Tim K. reminded everyone that Odis Martin is a Licensed Appraiser and does this for club members for $60.00.
Greg B. asked the club if they would like to do another Poker Run. Discussion followed. Wil P. pointed out that the Toy-Run is coming up and is very well organized. Wil P. stated he will bring a flier to the next meeting and distribute the information.
Dennis G. announced that he has several fliers for events and to see him and watch the newsletter for dates of upcoming events.
